Christmas Morning

The beautiful Christmas tree with matching wrapping paper, of course.
Adriel with her first present...colored goldFISH! crackers. She basically didn't care about anything else after that. She would only open more presents if she had had some FISH! to eat.
Pappy and Tyler modeling their turkey and horse hats...And, as the tag says, "with sound and action"
Adriel opening her pink boots! We pretty much ditched the sleeper because none of her shoes fit with it on. And she pretty much only got shoes for Christmas :)Adriel loves her cute new dress from Auntie Ashley and books from Auntie Mackenzie and Auntie Page. We love the fact that our family gives books and clothes instead of noisy toys.
Classic Christmas. Mom is opening a package of dish towels and Dad is saving the ribbon. We're thrify.

First Haircut!!!

Most children need their hair cut before the age of 21 months, but not my child. She got her first one last Sunday, and it was just actually to cut off the scragglies at the bottom...and because my Mom has been wanting to cut Adriel's mullet for months.

Christmas Vacation Part I

I'm sure there will be many other posts, but this is just part one...

(before we left) Brooklee (L) Dallyn (R)
Adriel on the plane...this does not represent how our flight went. It was SO GOOD!!! Security went really smoothly, Double Snap n Go and all. The babies slept the whole entire first flight (and Tyler got a LONG nap). Adriel read, colored, ate, played. I didn't even break out the DVD player until the airport during our layover. She slept during the second flight, and woke up cranky, but calmed down after a little bit. It helped that there were extra seats so we have the babies in their carseats.
Dallyn (L) and Brooklee (R) are surprised to find themselves with Grandmama and Pappy
Adriel is sporting a ponytail...it gets better each time I try :)

We went for a walk with our new stroller. The babies are under the blankets, and Adriel is riding high. This stroller ROCKS! We love it.

Loads of Pictures from Auntie Mackenzie

Auntie Mackenzie took her turn with us over Thanksgiving, which was wonderful. It was so nice to have her here to help with everything, especially with the holiday. One night she and I stayed up late talking when we should have been sleeping because it was Tyler's shift with the babies. Adriel got treated to another trip to Petsmart, and the whole family went to Seattle Center and Pike Place Market. A highlight was definitely the i heart indie craft show. Cute stuff, although Mackenzie and I were the only ones without tattoos :) Mackenzie babysat so Tyler and I enjoyed another night out (we are getting so spoiled!) to get some Christmas shopping done. Here are some pictures that Mackenzie took while she was here. Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks, Makenz!

Brooklee is excitedly sporting a headband that Ashley made
THE pig...note Kenzie's bag from said craft show
Adriel's all dressed up with nowhere to go...and the shoes are a couple sizes too big
It finally happened...

Adriel loves this monkey...it's not hers...she somehow came home with it after Thanksgiving dinner. I still need to find out who it belongs to...
The FISH! at Petsmart
Mackenzie let me take a nap and she cuddled with babies while doing homework
Brooklee gets a good hit on Dallyn, but Dallyn is ready with a right hook
Adriel's first time getting stuck in a hanger. Yes, it has happened since then. The (dead) FISH! at Pike Place

Babies are so cute in just their eco-friendly cloth diapers. We're so green {sarcastic intonation}. Brooklee's spit up caught on camera is not half as good as this pic.

The whole family on the monorail.
