Quart Canning Jars
This is a shameless cry for help! I'm in the middle of canning and I'm out of jars! I don't know what happened to all of my jars. Well I do know that I gave some away in Seattle but I thought that I got enough of my grandma's to compensate. I guess also I got a lot more fruit this year than other years. Those dang twins. Anyways, if you know any little old grandma that doesn't can anymore or something I would love to buy her jars from her. I don't care if they're wide mouth or regular, but I would prefer the quart size. I picked a bunch of pears from a neighbor's tree (with her permission, of course) and need to can them. And the applesauce from the apples I picked. Anyways, got to get going, the peaches are blanched and are waiting for me.

Check out the DI...I usually see some there at ours! I'm glad to see there are other women who can, it's such a great thing to do, and so fulfilling to see those jars lined up when you're all done. Tastes so much better than store bought!
Good luck finding jars...we canned peaches not very long ago and one of my cousins couldn't find wide mouth jars anywhere! I guess it's canning season!? It's my first year canning and I have to say I didn't realize how much work goes into it...but it's so worth it!
